OCT 22 - NOV 19, Sundays 5:30p | How I Feel + Who I Am

Who: This series is for teens and pre-teens in grades 6 thru 12.

What: Adolescence is a time regularly associated with internal and external conflict. While there are many milestones to celebrate during this phase of development, stepping into independence and exploring what it means to be YOU is challenging work. For grown-ups guiding and supporting adolescents through this time, while also learning to release control so they can spread their wings - is rocky terrain! In this 5-week workshop, we will come together to prepare a wellness backpack filled with gear such as meditation, mindfulness, breathing practices, simple exercises, journaling prompts, and communication skills to carry on this journey. Primarily, this content is developed for teens attending the sessions independently. However, at least one grown-up will need to attend with their teen periodically throughout the series - we’ve got some gear for your backpack, too!

At the end of the 5 weeks, our hope is that you will have some valuable 'gear' that will help you navigate any rough parts of your journey and fully embrace the joy and beauty in this season.
